I am a holistic birth-worker, certified breastfeeding specialist and natural parenting advocate. I assist women and families with fertility, prenatally, during labor/birth and postpartum. I entered into this work after my son was born, but it was the journey to conceiving him that brought me here. I went on a holistic healing journey after being diagnosed with infertility, PCOS and endometriosis. Doctors said that I would never be able to conceive naturally. I had this "crazy" faith that I could heal holistically, despite all the odds. I journeyed through learning a new way of living, and growing spiritually. Once I NATURALLY conceived my son, I started learning about alternatives to traditional baby products and a more gentle, natural parenting approach. This is how I became interested in all the things (such as baby wearing, attachment parenting, cloth diapering, etc!) I am very passionate about this work, as birth work is in my DNA. My great-great grandmother was a midwife in south Georgia. I am always thinking of ways to reach more people and educate other about the maternal mortality rate in the US. This work is my passion!
I provide in person and virtual support and educational services. I offer doula care, cloth diapering education, baby wearing education, essential oil education, breastfeeding education and more! I enjoy teaching and preparing my clients with the knowledge they need to navigate birth and postpartum. I also prepare a variety of herbal based healing products, such as yoni steams, postpartum herbal preparations, herbal baths for fertility, and oil blends.
I have several different birth doula packages available. Each one has a different amount of meetings. Meetings can be in person or virtual via videoconference. These meetings are for us to develop a relationship, so that i get to know YOU! We discuss all things childbirth, address any fears, and create a birth plan, of course. My aim is for you to feel supported and informed as you enter into the birthing space. Labor and delivery excites me so much! It's certainly one of my favorite places to hold space. Even for a virtual client, I am available via video chat/FaceTime/phone to offer affirmations, and guide the in person support person through comfort techniques; and serve as support.`Postpartum support looks different for everyone based off their needs. Some people have plenty in person support for meals and assistance with the new addition, and they just need me for emotional support. Others need me to hold the baby for a shower! I'm here, however you need me to be.
