Zarina Vitebsky, a mom of four and co-owner of ProTouch Physical Therapy, began her career with a Masters in Physical Therapy and a speciality in Neurology. Realizing that pelvic floor related issues intrigued Zarina, she began to focus and expand her studies in this area. Training under some of the most prestigious teachers and consistently making time to learn the latest techniques, Zarina soon became one of the most well known & knowledgeable pelvic floor therapists in NJ.
When it came to diastasis recti, Zarina used her vast knowledge of how the body works as a whole to understand the best way to treat DRA. By focusing on the entire trunk rather than the abdominal wall, she has maintained a higher than average success rate in reversing diastasis recti. This lead to establishing a very strong following within the local mom communities.
ProTouch Physical Therapy also treats orthopedic patients including children as well as male pelvic floor dysfunction. The practice has become a family environment for many of her patients.

Pelvic Floor Therapy is an important part of preventing and treating pelvic floor dysfunction most common with pregnancy. One main area of concern we often see is diastasis recti, as 60% of mothers will develop DRA during childbirth.
For Diastasis Recti, Zarina has developed a 7-step DRA protocol to treat the entire trunk whereas most programs focus on just the abdominal wall. Throughout Zarina's experience as an advanced pelvic floor therapist and her continuing education, she has learned a huge contributing factor in diastasis recti begins with the tightening of the back muscles. With a total of four pelvic floor therapists, the experts of our team will create a customized exercise program in conjunction with our 7-step protocol to bring you back to your pre-pregnancy body.
Zarina and her team also use a combination of modalities from visceral mobilization to cupping to myofascial release and cold laser to treat diastasis recti and overall pelvic floor dysfunction.
Our focus at ProTouch is to bring mothers back to their pre-pregnancy bodies.
In addition, our staff welcomes all babies/children to the facility so you can get your treatment in without having to worry about a babysitter.
