Pam Skop is a licensed mental health counselor whose focus is on women’s mental health issues, with a particular interest in the infertility, pregnancy, the postpartum period and parenting. Pam also focuses on working with those who have struggled with their relationship to food and their bodies. Pam has received additional training in behavioral therapies. She is also a vinyasa and prenatal yoga teacher, teaching from a trauma informed perspective, and postpartum doula. Her practice focuses on the importance of the mind-body connection.
I provide a space in which those in the childbearing years can discuss challenges they are experiencing. These challenges range from infertility to navigating different periods of parenthood and all things in between. In my work, I utilize a mix of behavioral therapy approaches, mindfulness practices, and the exploration of previous life experiences to help clients built awareness and navigate their difficulties more successfully.
