I'm a certified sleep consultant and mom to three boys. A former nanny and daughter of a child psychologist, it wasn't until I had my own child that I realized how difficult it is to sleep train a child when they are your own.
I work with families via in-person or virtual consultations to develop a written sleep plan that they can implement in their own home to start helping their child sleep more. We work together anywhere from 2-4 weeks going back and forth and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the process. I use a variety of techniques (both conventional and "gentle") so that parents have options when it comes to sleep work.
I was certified in 2014 as a sleep consultant and have recently taken an Infant Mental Health Course as well. Since my training began, I've worked with hundreds of clients helping them get more sleep.
