I am an infant and toddler development specialist with over a decade of experience working with families. I support young children and their families to find joy and comfort in themselves, each other and their community. My approach is built on developmental theory and research, personal and professional experience, and my desire to get to know your unique family and child.
I provide parenting classes, phone and in-person consultations that are comprehensive and approachable. I condense the many voices telling you how to parent into a manageable field of possibilities. My goal is to help parents discover the tools and confidence to parent the child they have.
I am an adjunct faculty member at Bank Street Graduate School of Education where I teach about infant and toddler development. I taught preschool for several years, most recently as a lead teacher at the Family Center at Brooklyn Friends School. I have presented at multiple professional conferences including at Bank Street's Infancy Institute and the NYSAIS Diversity and Equity in Curriculum Conference. I regularly present workshops and classes for both parents and professionals in my field.
I hold a dual M.S.Ed. in Infant and Family Development and Early Childhood General & Special Education from Bank Street College of Education, and a B.A. from Columbia University. I am trained in infant massage through Loving Touch Intl. and baby & child yoga through Asana Alphabet.
I am a mother.
