About me

My name is Dr. Madalina Yellico (Dr. Maddy for short). I am a licensed clinical psychologist who is trained in evidence-based practices, including CBT, DBT, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). I specializes in working with children, adolescents, and their families, most frequently with a parent-training component.

How I work with parents

Currently, I work with parents in a virtual format. My focus is supporting parents with self-regulation, emotional coping, and behavior management by coaching them in the use of evidence-based parenting techniques.

My training & experience

I have worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient units, outpatient centers, and private practices throughout the New York area. I graduated Summa Cum Laude in both my Bachelors and Masters degrees from Molloy College before completing my doctorate at St. John’s University. Though my experiences in the mental health field, I have worked with individuals from varied backgrounds.
