About me

I have been fascinated by the process of pregnancy, birth and lactation since I was a little girl. I got to fulfill my dream and start learning about those subjects during my first doula training in 2002. I became certified in 2007 after another training, and have worked with parents ever since, going full time as a "birth worker" in 2015, after the birth of my 2nd daughter. That is when the world of postpartum support was opened to me and I love it. Being with new parents as they get to know their babies is one of my greatest joys. I also love to teach prenatal education and help them prepare for what's ahead: birth, breast/chestfeeding and newborn care. I love my role in easing the way into this tremendous transformation of becoming a newborn family.

How I work with parents

I teach parents during your pregnancy, and offer support after the birth so they can have a satisfying birth experience and enjoy the first weeks of new parenthood feeling nourished, rested and confident in your abilities as a parent, transforming your initial postpartum time from exhausting to empowered.
