About me

I aim to support families in whatever their postpartum experience brings. This can include everything from baby care while you rest or shower, to preparing meals for your family, to taking out the trash (hey, someone's gotta do it!)

As a certified lactation counselor, I love providing help and encouragement with breastfeeding, but I am equally happy to assist families who are formula feeding in the logistics of their journey.
Everything I do, I aim to do with non-judgement, a helping hand, and a little laughter along the way!

I love postpartum work because it allows me to witness and support the beauty that is a new family... in all it's chaotic, messy, love-filled glory. I enjoy providing hands on, everyday support for families along with emotional reinforcement. There are endless articles, opinions, gadgets and gear out there in the baby world, it's easy to get lost. Sometimes all you need is the support of a community, your intuition to guide you, and of course lots of love from your postpartum doula :-)

How I work with parents

I work with parents in whatever capacity they need each day. Some days that may mean coming to you with energy and laughter, and other days that may mean lending a listening ear as you process emotions and experiences. I believe in the importance of meeting people wherever they are, and being present for the journey.

I have a Masters degree in maternal and child health and have worked as a researcher in a neonatal intensive care until with parents of premature infants. With this background, I love peer reviewed research and evidence based practices. At the same time, I am also a deep believer in listening to your gut, trusting your own body and experience and incorporating spiritual and emotional practices into parenthood, in whatever capacity this looks like to you.
